Ledford Third in State Open

NASHVILLE—The Tennessee Open had a strong UTC flavor after the first round.
Former Moc golfer Bryce Ledford shot a 3-under-par 68 at Gaylord Springs Golf Links on Tuesday and is tied for low professional in the Tennessee Open.
Ledford stands in third place overall behind UTC signee Steven Fox of Hendersonville, who shot a 64, and Danny Simmerman of Nashville, who shot 67.
Other professionals who shot 68 on Tuesday are Mark Houser of Kingsport, Philip Pettitt, Jr. of Murfreesboro and Buddy Harston of Whites Creek.
